White paper requests

In December 2006 Sir David Varney published a review of public services in the UK. The review focused on how services can be made both more efficient and more responsive to the needs of citizens and businesses by improving the channels through which they are delivered. Varney's report was accepted by Government as part of the 2007 spending review, and sets a challenging agenda for contact centres operated on behalf of any organisation that is funded by public money, including helplines, emergency services, and central and local government.

Our White Paper summarises the Varney Report as well as the latest government guidance for contact centres on performance measurement, benchmarking and accreditation as of 24th September 2007.
